Music
Songs we have learned and should practice at home will be included here.
Homework
Homework will be sent home on Tuesday. This homework log is for parents to check off as student's complete work. (sight word folder, journal writing - 2 prompts per week, math/LA worksheets - 3 double sided sheets)
Homework Journal - is sent home on Tuesday(most weeks) with two prompts to be completed and returned the next Monday so Ms. Young can read and put in the new prompts. Students will also be asked to share their writing with their classmates.
Sight Word Folder - Students are asked to learn the lists in the folder. When they have practiced at home and are ready to pass the lists (including the sentences with the lists) students should bring the folder in to be assessed. It does not have to be turned in on Monday. Please do not bring it in unless you are ready to pass the entire list.
Special projects - Once in a while students might bring a special project home to work on. If this happens directions will be attached to the project and I will email you as well. I might also send home review sheets for students before an assessment.
